Hoverboards: History of False Hope













The Hoverboard has a history of giving people false hope,
about well the hoverboard.

It  all started with the first apperance of a Hoverboard
where no one knew what a hoverboard was,  in Back
to the future 2 and that kicked it off.

Then there was the making of the film, where the producers
played a prank on the public, saying the Hoverboards were
real, but couldnt be made available to the  public for
safety concerns.

Then there was that odd jackass you meet, that swore they
were real and a company was working on them.

Years passed, and you had tv channels like Discovery having
scientist's  on saying yes there is technology that can make
the hoverboard exist.

All this false hope, and time passed and you slowly forgot
about it, except when Back to the Future 2 aired on tv.

Then Mattel played the cruelest hoax of all (F you Scott Neitlich)
Taking out a full page ad of Michael J Fox with the hoverboard
and the words "Hoverboards They're real and they're Magnificent"
Only to not only come out later and say, its only a prop replica, but
to hint in videos that they're working on something.

We then had the meanest humanbeing on earth,
 Tony Hawke saying a company called Huvr has
 invented a Hoverboard, and its not a Hoax, only
 to find out the whole thing was a hoax,  this fake
 company then had the audiciaty to tweet out "The
 Hoax is a Hoax" and erect billboards with a date
 and the hoverboard, further ripping out our hearts
 and giving us false hope.

Then a kickstarter campaign from these liars calling
 themselves "Hoverboards" only to find out their
hoverboards have wheels, not only that, they have
 in the past few days been spending millions and
 millions of dollars of flooding the internet with
 PR trying to get people to buy their fake hoverboard,
 thus taking time away from stories about how compainies
 can actually manfacture a real hoverboard.

Not sure why companies will do this?  It's mean and cruel
 and with D day coming up, October 21 2015, it's going to get
 worse.

Just a shame, that no real company will come up with
 a working Hoverboard for the public to buy and not a
 prototype (hint hint, Hendo)

Time will tell.

The Spinoff Confuses Me

Over the past few years, I have occasionally gone over to the website, "The Spinoff" and nearly every time the website has left me in a state of confusion, when normally I am in a state of denial. The website seems to read like it's coming from the old "Social Credit" party manifesto, but that isn't what confuses me, I guess the easiest way to explain is to give examples. Hey Kid Get Ya Feet off the Table

Words fail me, but I'm going to write something anyway. I kinda blame society for thinking that kids taking Selfie's is a great idea, and it breeds confidence, I actually think it breeds obnoxious. I was in a pub/restaurant not so long ago, and this group of people were there, mainly adults, ages ranged from about 65 to around 12. They were all nicely dressed, there were two kids, one a girl in her teens and a boy aged about 12, he seemed to be better dressed than the adults, he had one of those bowler hats on. Anyway, I was there with my group, there were two other groups there at the time. This kid had decided to play a rather loud game on his cell phone, loud enough that everyone else turned around to see where the noise was coming from, he for some reason, was nodding his head up and down saying "Yeah yeah" like he just achieved something really important. NOT A SECRET SOCIETY

The picture above doesn't show a Secret Society, it doesn't show people who are part of an exclusive club that has been around for 100's of years. There is not going to be a Line of Duty type investigation into these boys, there won't be a movie made into their life's, none of the people pictured are special. There is no wild antics that  they do, that will be talked about for centuries. They wont become Prime Minister. They're nothing like the Masons, the police aren't debating should they arrest them or not because who their daddies are. Yet the New Zealand Media once again get it wrong, by dramatizing their behavior and giving it a cute nickname, leading people to believe, "Wow is this like Billionaire Boys club", or that English movie which shows the Elite acting badly" Please tell us More!!!!
